ABOUT US

After nearly two decades at the helm of Greenmark, a premier Atlanta-area landscaping company, President Mark Erbesfield realized the lack of high-end hardscape companies operating in the Atlanta region. As a result, PaverStone Construction was formed and the PaverStone Difference was created: a unique program blending the best of landscape design and hardscape construction into a seamless experience that brings customer dreams to life without the hassle of hiring multiple contractors. Twenty years later, PaverStone Construction has taken its place among the southeasts premier hardscape construction firms. If it involves your outdoor environment, we are your single-source provider. Our People. PaverStone Construction is an Interlocking Concrete Pavement Institute (ICPI), Belgard and PaverStone Certified Contractor. Our craftsmen are not only professionally-trained Interlocking Concrete Paver installers, they are stonemasons who have undergone numerous, rigorous hours of training both on-site and in the classroom. Our crews practice continual education every year, attending at least one multi-day ICPI course in order to stay abreast of the latest techniques.

The Installation Process Once we have designed your project and it has received your approval you will be provided with a Project Manager who will schedule your installation and keep you informed as the project progresses. As an ICPI certified contractor, we guarantee that only proper installation practices and top quality materials will be used. Contractors who cut costs by failing to follow these principles void the product warranty. Installations normally begin around $5000 but the cost of a project depends on several factors including job size, material type, site conditions, accessibility and final design. Per ICPI, pavers are installed on a base of crush granite stone with a one inch of coarse granite sand as the setting bed. The base thickness will be dependent on the application. Patios typically have a 4″ of base while driveways have a minimum 6″ of base.

Advantages

Flexibility:Pavers are modular units, which allow for flexibility in all weather conditions. Pavers do not expand or contract like traditional poured-in-place concrete, eliminating the cracking from freeze-thaw cycles during the winter months.

Strength:Pavers are manufactured in a controlled environment, ensuring uniform quality, strength and beauty. Pavers must meet minimum ASTM standards of at least 8000 psi, making them 2 to 3 times stronger than poured-in-place concrete and asphalt.

Diversity:Pavers come in a wide variety of colors, shapes, and textures. Numerous laying patterns are offered to compliment all types of architectural styles. Pavers are solidly colored throughout the unit, which prevents the colors from fading or chipping and keeps them beautiful for years to come.

Safety:Wet or dry, pavers offer a non-skid, non-slip surface unmatched by other paving surfaces.

Repair:In the event a section of Pavers must be removed, individual modular units can be removed and re-installed seamlessly.

Guarantee:We offer an unheard-of 5 year guarantee on all of our paver installations. In addition, the manufacturer guarantees paver materials for a lifetime for the original owner. For specific details, please refer to the manufacturer’s guarantee.
